International Individual/Joint Account

For individuals outside the U.S.

The Schwab One International® account

      Minimum to open:  US$10,000 deposit APPLY     

Corporate Account

Have you established a private investment corporation that meets your local governmental requirements? Yes. Then if the directors of your corporation are based in the U.K. or Switzerland, you can open a U.S. dollar denominated Schwab One International® Corporate Account. The account will be in the name of your corporation. If you are part of an offshore corporation, provided you meet the requirements of the jurisdiction in which you are registered, you can also open a Schwab One International® Corporate Account with Schwab.

You can set up a straightforward and easy-to-use Dollar brokerage account. With this you can explore and enjoy the challenge of the exciting world of the U.S. markets.

The Schwab One International® Corporate account

      Minimum to open:  US$25,000 deposit APPLY

Account Structure

In establishing a U.S. brokerage account (either brokerage or corporate), Schwab U.K. will introduce you to Schwab, a U.S. broker-dealer, and the account will be operated by Schwab from the U.S. Schwab is regulated under U.S. securities laws and is not authorised in the U.K. All or most of the protections provided by the U.K. regulatory system do not apply but U.S. securities protections do. There is no coverage by the U.K. Financial Services Compensation Scheme but coverage under the U.S. scheme, SIPC (Securities Investor Protection Corporation).
